We all know Marie Innarelli. From her regular announcements at assemblies to her exquisite dance performances, Marie is a visible presence on campus. Arguably one of Williston’s most outgoing seniors, Marie is a proctor in Mem East, is very involved in both the dance and theatre programs, and is an active member of many clubs including Williston’s Wildest Cats spirit club and the Community Service club.

Marie exemplifies Purpose, Passion, and Integrity, and leads by example, always with a smile.

Q: What’s your best memory from your time at Williston?

A: My best memory would be my freshman year, entirely. John Wright was, at the time, not the best circumstances, but looking back, I made so many amazing memories and it was so fun and was such an unbelievable bonding experience that I think John Wright is a very magical place.

Q: Which of your accomplishments at Williston are you most proud of?

A: I’m most proud of how involved of a community member I’ve become. I do a lot of different clubs, a lot of different activities, and I try and touch every realm that Williston has to offer. So that’s what I’m most proud of. I think I’ve done a decent job in spreading myself out.

Q: Which activity at Williston have you most enjoyed?

A: I most enjoy the performance-based activities. I love dance. I’ve been doing that since freshman year; I love that. And then getting involved in theatre my junior year was an awesome decision because I love the theatre program.

Q: What would you recommend younger students try at Williston?

A: Everything. I recommend that you try anything that you don’t want to try. Go out of your comfort zone 110%, because that’s what I did with theatre because I was so used to performing on stage in a certain way, and doing it differently was so nerve-wracking. But try everything. Try community service. Community service would probably be my best [recommendation]. I love that. That’s really rewarding.

Q: What will you miss most about Williston?

A: The teachers. The thought of saying goodbye to them at graduation breaks my heart. They’re my best friends. I’m really genuinely depressed at the thought of leaving the teachers. Yeah. The teacher relationship.

Q: What are you most looking forward to when you graduate?

A: Seeing how well Williston has prepared me for the real world. Going to college and making the most of it and taking everything I’ve learned and applying it in, hopefully, the best way that I can.

Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?

A: Hopefully, with a decent job, maybe an internship. Hopefully, in Boston at a law firm. Yeah, Boston at a law firm. That’s what I want. Or anywhere at a law firm.
