Alix Earle’s Dancing With The Stars season has winded down following months of public speculation on the split between her and Braxton Berrios.
The breakup between Earle and NFL wide receiver has sparked a lot of online controversy. Millions of people have followed Alix Earle’s rise to fame, from content creator to “Dancing With The Stars” finalist. Individuals argue that the split added an emotional weight to her performances with dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy. The duo fell just short of winning the Mirrorball trophy to Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.
Earle started gaining national attention in 2022 of her senior year at the University of Miami. She posted Tik Tok videos of her getting ready to go out or just her day-to-day life as a college student. As a result of her rapid rise to fame, many big companies such as- Sports Illustrated, Amazon, Victoria Secret, and L’Oreal have partnered with her. She even appeared in a NFL Superbowl ad partnering with Poppi in 2025.
In May of 2025, Dancing With The Stars reached out to her in and she joined for their 34th season. Earle has 10 million followers on Tik Tok and 5 million followers on Instagram making her net worth to be around $20 million. She also founded her own margarita company, sipMARGS, which are ready to drink sparkling margaritas in a can.
Brianna Counter, a 14-year-old dancer from Mass. was heartbroken by the speculation of the split. “I was very upset and sad because they were my favorite couple,” she said.
Maya Green, a senior from Northampton Mass., has doubts about the relationship coming to an end. “I think it’s false!! They never came out and talked about it. She posted a TikTok in Braxton’s house the other night. ”
The TikTok Maya is referring to was posted on December 7, 2025. Earle posted a video of her eating a burrito with no hands, gaining over 10 million views. The curtains behind her looked similar to the ones at Berrios’ house, so people assumed the rumors were false.
The relationship started at a Great Gatsby themed party in Miami during February 2023. In March of 2023, she announced her commitment to Berrios, also known as “NFL man.” The couple became nationally loved because of the authenticity and chemistry the two shared.
Callie Manfredi, a Junior at Williston, thinks that the rumors could be false because not everything is true on social media. “I think that the media did get to them because a relationship is meant to stay between two people and not be publicized nationally,” Callie said.
Update: On December 13, Earle posted a video on TikTok confirming the breakup between her and Berrios. The video has 2.8 million likes and over 25 million views. American entertainment organizations such as People Magazine, Daily Mail, and E! News have all published follow ups on the breakup.
