Some people work better and faster in the morning when they have their outfit planned, whether it is to have more time in the morning to get ready or to have more time to sleep in the morning. Others don’t care what they wear and grab the first thing they see in their closet.
Maggie Duffy, a junior student from Cumberland, Maine, does not usually pick her clothes the night before.
” I’m thinking about other things and the outfit falls to the bottom of the list,” she said.
Maggie has an idea about what she is going to wear, but is never fully sure until the outfit gets put on.
“I at least have one item in mind,” she said. “Like if there was a sweater I really wanted to wear, then I start brainstorming in my head. But I don’t really pick anything out the night before.”
“I do check the weather before I pick my outfits out,” she added.
Maggie feels less stressed when she already has everything picked out.
“If I wake up and already know what I am going to wear, I just plop it on and I’m like ‘Oh damn I’m ready to go,'”
